New 5 bedroom Family Haven

Close to downtown and OSU. We went for a conference and were grateful for the space. Positive: Messages were clear and easy to follow. The house was clean. Towels were great. Very cute and cozy design elements. Parking behind house was perfect. The host provides ear plugs for the street noise (the main floor bedroom was very noisy, but the ear plugs helped to get to sleep). Host was responsive and nice. Negative: We had six people, and the listing says that even more could stay. The beds were large enough to share if you had more people. However, dining was an issue. The table to share a meal sat four, and the two living areas were set up to seat two or three people, and they are separated by a floor. Additionally, more utensils and cooking tools (like a cork screw or pizza cutter) are needed to accommodate a group dinner. We bought a cork screw and left it there, but it would be good for the hosts to do a kitchen audit before the next big group comes in. Also, an investment in a larger dining table would be worth it and there is space! The main floor bedroom could use blackout curtain. I did see a sleep mask up in the laundry room, but I would not use someone else's sleep mask.

We had a wonderful family Christmas at this house. There are lots of steep stairs, so beware if you have trouble with stairs. There is a bedroom and bathroom on the main floor. The rooms are small. Overall we had a wonderful holiday.

Well appointed house was great for our family stay in Corvallis. Comfortable beds, very clean, and a welcoming atmosphere. Convenient to downtown and campus. There is traffic noise from 99, but it does drop off at night.
